Mentoring teams at the first All-Russian educational case championship
(01)Goals
To turn practical-based method into a school programme
The case championship was run by IKRA for TATNEFT. I took part as an invited mentor and facilitator
(MY ROLE)
- Mentoring teams how to use the CRAFT/ed methodology to build a practice-oriented programme for one of the classic school subjects with an added focus on soft skills development
- Helped the teams apply it to design a new programme
- Mentored them as they built, shaped and presented their programmes

(02)Results
From idea to a new format
The teams started where most teams do: comfortable with familiar approaches and unsure where to begin. As their mentor, I guided them through the whole journey. First came a shift in mindset: from executing tasks to looking for new opportunities. That shift produced ideas, and step by step the teams turned it into a complete learning programs and a fully developed cases.
- The teams went all the way from mindset shift to a ready-to-launch programs
- Two teams under my mentorship reached the final
- One of which won the championship and gained the confidence and skills to turn new ideas into working solutions on their own
